I am a Software Engineer at Google. I started as an intern in 2011, then joined full time in 2012 in the Platforms Networking group, working on creating the fastest and largest network in the world! I then worked on aerial-based cellular communication, in particular motor control and antenna pointing, and then briefly worked on terrestrial-based point-to-point wireless links. Most recently, I have worked on a surgical robotic platform that is a joint venture between Verily and Johnson & Johnson, which formed a new company, Verb Surgical. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2009 where I developed a passion for the intersection of embedded systems and inter-device communication, and continued my interest in routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
